About Me

Elephant Face

Photography has been my passion since I was about 10 years old. Although I decided on a career as a scientist, my research-related travels kept my photography alive and only increased my motivation to continue capturing the natural wonders that lurk everywhere around us. As a scientist, my goal is to uncover the secrets of animal behavior, and this is only possible by paying attention to the smallest details. My photography is, perhaps, an artistic extension of that scientific mindset with which I observe, analyze, and interpret the natural world. Using the camera as a tool, I aim to not only reveal the natural beauty of the world, but also capture the emotional connection to my subjects in a way that can be appreciated by others.
